I’m gonna file this one under “what were they thinking?!”
I’ve seen some ‘Foolers beaten, thrashed and nearly smashed to within an inch of their lives.
It’s a sad sight to see and you only hope someone will buy them and rescue them and build them back up to their former glory.

It’s either an 83 or an 84 Airfooler converted to a quad with one of the butt-ugly conversion kkits sold back in the 80’s. I’m betting that’s when this poor ‘Fooler got butchered. The CPSC and the three wheeler ban really did a number on the three wheeler community back then and everyone started buying and ‘hyping’ up Quads which, in turn, lead to many people butchering ‘cherry’ Airfoolers (and other trikes too) into what you see here.

I think it’s a sin so many 3 wheelers met this sad fate.

Having said all that – a vintage airfooler looks better as a quad then any other trike! Hah.
