Hey again Fooler-fanatics and vintage ATV fans! I had some free time tonight to get a couple more quick snapshots of some of the riding gear and other items Brett Driscoll sent my way.

These are just quick iPhone snaps just to give you an idea and a look-see at the gear before I get my real digital camera out to get some really high resolution pictures of these items for safe keeping and for, hopefully, a new section here on the website.

On Any Sunday

For the last 6 months Ive been working out and running about 4 times a week. Ive lost about 20 lbs and gained a lot of stamina. My goal was to feel good and get my competitive juices flowing again… I’ve raced about 5 desert races this year….I’ve yet to feel good about my finishes. 

This Sunday I took the trek to my local desert. The race was 5, 24 mile loops… about 120 miles. That’s a tuff race for most 46 year olds – but I was feeling good and was determined to make a good showing. Took my 3 Motrin, rubbed the anti-perspraint on my hands, drank Pedialite 24 hours before, ate a banana and Del taco breakfast burrito…. I was ready!

Cruised over to the start line, found a good line, packed the dirt down under my tires… Finally the flag dropped, I got a good start, I was running about 4th out of 50 guys….
