These don’t show up very often at all – but – every once in awhile you see one of these pop up on ebay or craigslist.
This my friends is a watercooled head for the Aircooled 250R engine. Pretty rare, pretty cool & VERY trick.
Here is the best part – this Watercooled Fooler head is For Sale on Craigslist for a mere 125 bucks!!
One of you guys should really jump on this deal – I know I would if I didn’t have a 300R Jug which it doesn’t fit.
Nice to see another rarity like this pop up!

Back in the 80’s DG aftermarket parts were some of the most popular ‘hop ups’ you could buy for your Fooler. DG get’s a bad rap nowadays from a lot of people but there is no denying their popularity in the 80’s.
One only has to look at some vintage pics of Dean Sundahl’s factory racer to see DG parts from front to back. Swingarms, Boost Bottles & Handlebars were all popular DG products – but – easily the most distinctive and popular DG mod was the Gold DG ‘Cool heads.’
These heads looked very trick and raised the compression slightly for a small increase in power.
