Remember this ? Of course you do (or don’t I dunno!) – regardless, it was the first ‘four wheeled Fooler’ we reported on here at www.airfoolers.com
Today I was sent an email by community member DP250R81 and in it he included a couple pics of his own Fooler-Conversion … his platform, unlike the second gen conversion linked above, is based on a 1st Gen 250R – a 1982.
I’ve been pretty hard on ‘qwads’ in the past but …

Hey again Fooler-fanatics and vintage ATV fans! I had some free time tonight to get a couple more quick snapshots of some of the riding gear and other items Brett Driscoll sent my way.
These are just quick iPhone snaps just to give you an idea and a look-see at the gear before I get my real digital camera out to get some really high resolution pictures of these items for safe keeping and for, hopefully, a new section here on the website.

Riding! And that’s just what they’ll do – one of these days these boots are gunna ride right over you.
I figured it was high time I get a couple pictures up on here of these sick old school authentic 80’s era JT Racing boots once owned & worn by Desert Racing legend, Mr.Brett Driscoll.
These, along with some other very cool 80’s era gear and items (we’ll get to those later) were sent to me by Brett last year as a gift. A most cherished gift I’ll never forget and always hold up to the highest value.
Brett has been so very awesome and giving to airfoolers.com since we launched, I could never thank him enough.
These are just some quick shots, for now, to wet your appetite – very soon I will be taking hi-res pictures of the boots and the rest of the gear and items Brett sent my way PLUS some more very cool items a couple other old school racers have put in the mail for us! Hopefully between my items and pics of other ‘trick & rare’ items from the heyday of 3w racing we can open a small ‘online vintage museam’ of sorts on here. *fingers crossed*
Have I worn these boots on my Airfooler you might be wondering? Yes I have – once, and it was surreal … I looked over my shoulder once and I swear I saw Dean Sundahl, Jimmy White, Mike Coe, Craig Corda all in a battle to catch me.
Stay tuned – more goodies on the way!

“Why do you ride those 2-stroke Three Wheelers?” is a question a person on the ‘outside’ of our world might ask. And who could blame them, really with all we’ve been lead to believe?
The common Three Wheeler has been deemed a ‘death trap’ by those ignorant to the facts since the mid-80’s. Big Red’s, 200E Shafts, 200M’s and even the lil ATC70’s are considered ‘insane,’ ‘unsafe’ & even ‘illegal!’
But crazier then all that & even though we here at AF.COM own and love the regular ‘working mans’ three wheelers listed above, for the most part we all own 250CC 2-stroke powered racing trikes!
250CC’s – who am I kidding? Anyone who spends more then 5 minutes on the forum would see that every day of the week someone else is taking the bigbore plunge.
It’s all about power!
